Yes, to enter any of the categories you will need to create an account. 
Once you have created an account you will be able to edit any entries already submitted up until the entry deadline of 23 June. 

Yes, all nominees must be a resident of Wandsworth Borough Council. 

Yes, if you meet the criteria, you are eligible to enter more than one category

Yes, you may enter on behalf of someone else. We do encourage you to let them know. If they are shortlisted, we will contact the details left on the entry form


If you are entering on behalf of someone else and do not have their email information, please put your own email into the relevant text box. If that person is then successful in being shortlisted, we will contact you directly to pass the information on. 

We advise you put as much information and detail as possible in the entry form. All information will be considered by the judges.

That's ok. The picture of the person you are nominating is optional at entry stage. 

If they are successfully shortlisted, we will contact them and ask them for an image. 

No. All email addresses, phone numbers and any other personal information will be hidden from the judges. 

The Judges will only be able to see the relevant questions related to the entry. These questions are detailed under each category on our categories page 

Yes, until the entry deadline of 23 June 2025, you are able to login to your account and amend the information. Alternatively, you can email eventcomms@wandsworth.gov.uk and we can amend this information for you. 

We will only be able to amend information until Judging begins on 1st July 2025. After this point, the information given will be the information that is judged.

During the judging process the judges may decide to create additional categories based on the entries received. 

Yes, if you are successfully shortlisted, we will inform you which category you are shortlisted for. If you are in a new category not previously available for entry, we will inform you of this and some rationale as to why this has occurred.

Yes. A member of the events team will contact you whether you have been successful or unsuccessful once the judging period has concluded and the shortlist released.

The shortlist will be announced in September once the judging process has been completed. The shortlist will be on our website, and an announcement will be made on the Wandsworth Council social media channels. All entrants, successful or otherwise will be emailed by our Events Team.

No, in a change to previous years, we will not be informing winners of the result before the awards ceremony. All winners will be announced at the ceremony taking place on Tuesday 11 November 2024.

If you are successful in being shortlisted, the events team will contact you. Every shortlisted finalist will be asked the question ‘should you win, please confirm the name of the person collecting the award’ 

This allows you to nominate someone else you trust to collect the award on your behalf should you be successful. In the event you are unable to nominate someone to collect on your behalf, the events team will contact you to arrange delivery of the award post event.

No, although we strongly advise that you do if you are able. All winners will be announced on the night.

You will be able to book your tickets via the Attend page, once the shortlist has been announced in September. 

In the meantime, you can register your interest via our Attend Page and we will contact you when tickets are open for booking.
