Terms of Entry:
- By entering the Awards, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to be bound by them. These rules include any instructions set out with the Awards details
- Nominees must be residents of Wandsworth Borough Council.
- Entrants may enter multiple categories The awards are self-entry.
- You may enter on behalf of someone else providing you obtain the relevant requested information on the entry forms and criteria set out.
- The organiser reserves the right at its discretion to reject any entry that it deems inappropriate.
- Entries, photographs and any supporting documents must be submitted by the entry deadline of Monday 27 July 2026
- Entries will only be accepted if they are submitted online, completed in full and accompanied by the required supporting materials where applicable.
- Entries must be submitted by the person responsible for submitting the entry and to whom all correspondence concerning the Awards should be addressed.
- Responsibility cannot be accepted for any lost, late or mislaid entry and any entry which is incomplete, or which otherwise does not comply with these terms and conditions and may be deemed invalid in the sole discretion of the organiser.
- The Awards will be judged by a panel of judges selected by the organiser.
- The judges will select a minimum of three finalists from each category against a criteria set out in the category page. Finalists will be notified by email no later than September 2026.
- Judges may at their discretion create additional categories during the judging process. Entrants will be notified if their entry is moved to a new category.
- The period entries will be judged for specified categories runs from 1st May 2025 – 27th July 2026
- The Judges may decline to make any award in any category if in their opinion there are insufficient entries of a winning standard
- The Award finalists will each receive a digital certificate with overall winners receiving a trophy at the awards ceremony in November
- The organiser reserves the right to change the judging panel without prior notice to entrants
- The decision of the Chair of the Judges on all matters affecting the Awards is final
- No correspondence will be entered into
- Winners may be required to take part in some post-event publicity and consent to their name and photography being used for such purposes
- Entrants consent to the publication by the Organiser in connection with the Awards of any of the documents or materials constituting their entry
- Any winner may publicise their Award provided the year in which it is won is stated. The Organiser licences any winner to use the official awards logo in connection with its award providing it is not altered in any way.
- If entrants provide any images as part of their entry, they confirm that they hold the necessary rights, consents and licences required to use, amend, edit and publish the images by the organiser. Each entrant hereby grants to the Organiser a worldwide, non-exclusive royalty-free right and licence to use, reproduce, publish, store, distribute and display the images in accordance with these Terms of entry.
- By entering the Awards all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of the Awards and any other purposes to which the Entrant has consented.
