Bravery Award
The Bravery Award recognises those who have shown exceptional courage, resilience, or bravery in difficult situations. This could include life-saving acts or efforts to help others in challenging times.
Entry Questions:
- Describe the challenge, crisis, or situation in which the nominee has demonstrated bravery or resilience
- How did their actions impact others or inspire change?
- What makes this nominees story unique or extraordinary?
- When did this act take place?
- Detail any testimonials or supporting evidence of their bravery/resilience
- Supporting links and documents maximum 3
Charity Champion
Entrants for the Charity Champion Award must be actively involved in charitable work through volunteering, fundraising, advocacy, or direct support. This individual has shown dedication and passion for a cause that benefits the community. Could be donation or fundraising based.
Qualifiers for this award can be an individual or a group making a significant difference through charitable efforts. The work must be ongoing or have had a lasting positive effect.
Entry Questions:
- Describe the nominee's charitable work (fundraising, advocacy, volunteering etc)
- What cause(s) does the nominee support and why?
- How has their work made a lasting impact on the community?
- If the nomination if for fundraising efforts, please confirm the monetary value
- How were the funds raised?
- Provide examples of events, campaigns or initiatives the nominee has led

Community Champion
This category is for any individual who has made a significant impact by supporting neighbours, organising community events, or fostering a sense of community spirit. An individual who helps to make the neighbourhood a better place to live, either on a regular basis or through a single act of kindness, acting selflessly without expectation of recognition or reward.
Entry Questions:
- How has the nominee supported neighbours, organised community events or fostered community spirit? Please provide specific examples of the nominee's impact on the community
- How long has the nominee been involved in these activities?
- Are there any testimonials from community members?
- How has their contribution impacted the local community?

Cultural Champion
This award is open to individuals, groups or organisations that have set up an initiative, project, or program that fosters creativity, culture, or heritage within the community.
The initiatives must have been active within the timeframe 1st May 2025 – 27 July 2026

- How does the initiative promote creativity, culture or heritage in the community?

Environmental Hero
The Environmental Hero Award honours individuals or groups actively working to fight climate change, reduce environmental impact, or promote sustainability within the community.
Entry Questions:
- What actions has the nominee taken to fight climate change or promote sustainability?
- What specific environmental issues has the nominee addressed?
- What measurable impact has the nominee made in the community?
- Does the nominee's work involve collaboration with groups, businesses or local initiatives? If yes, please detail these

Young Person of the Year
The Young Person of the Year award is for those ages 11-18 years. This category will be awarded to an individual that has made remarkable efforts to significantly uplift and enrich their community.
The individual will have demonstratable passion and dedication to making a positive impact through acts of social action, or community service through leadership, innovation, advocacy, volunteering or setting up initiatives.
Entry Questions:

- How has the nominee demonstrated leadership, resilience, or innovation?
- What impact has their work had on their community or peers?
